#Kinder16 Reflections

Saturday, March 5, 2016

I usually take notes at conferences and post them to Twitter using the Paper 53 app, my iPad, and my fine point stylus.  I do it for a few reasons.
1.  When I post them to Twitter, I have easy access to them from my phone
whenever I need to reference them.
2.  It shares the learning with my staff back at school.
3.  It helps me synthesize my learning into 1 page.

I usually tag the presenter on the notes when I post them to Twitter.  This time, the Keynote speaker, Tonya Ward Singer, gave me this challenge:

Challenge accepted.  Here it is!  My conference synthesis #sketchnote:

Here are the rest of my notes, in order of sessions.

The Thursday Keynote with @TonyaWardSinger

Session C with @hellojenjones

Session D with @ChristyMoore6

Session E with @TonyaWardSinger

Session F with @ConnieHamilton

Session I with @hellojenjones

Friday Keynote with @TheSuperFunShow

Session K with @mariemcg72 and @karaweso
(That's our very own Kirstin McGinnis and Kara Wesolowski, D100!)

Session L with @hellojenjones

(The #sketchnotes are missing because this is where my iPad
ran out of battery.  I forgot to charge it.)
Session M with @MrsJumpsClass

I highly suggest you follow all the presenters!  They are just fantastic and would surely enhance your PLN.

  1. I like the idea of posting your notes on twitter as a way to always have access to them.

    1. It has actually helped me out a few times. My memory is not as good as I would like it to be. :)
