Day 15

Words I Try To Live By

Try your best.

Perfection is impossible.  Accept it.  

Learn something new every day.

Believe in possibility.

Try to see things from other peoples' perspectives.

Don't take things so personally that you can't do your own job.  

Crying is not a sign of weakness.  Embrace the tears.

Live passionately.  

Look for rainbows.

Put your best self out there as often as you can.

It's ok to eat chocolate to refocus and help find your best self.

Don't allow things to stop you from doing the things that matter to you.

Be true to yourself.

Be true to yourself.  (That one is worth repeating.)

Make a difference.

Use your voice wisely.

Believe in you, but also believe in others.

See the difference that you make.

See the changes you need to make in yourself.

Reflect.  A lot.

Be kind.

Enjoy the little moments.

Don't let negativity stop you in your tracks.

Control yourself.  That's the only person you can control.

Surround yourself with people who see you for who you are.

Be a light, and seek the light.

Take time to listen, but don't be afraid to be heard.

Remind yourself of the person you want to be and make a list like this.  :)

  1. That was a sweet little clip. Your list of affirmations is impressive. Another SOL blogger wrote about affirmations the other day and it had me thinking about choosing a few I to post in more visible places. Your selection gives me ideas.
