New beginnings, like:
...a piece of gum from a fresh pack
...the first drop of rain hitting the windshield in a storm
...a new bud blooming on a tree branch
...the first sip of coffee from a just poured cup
...the familiar first notes of a song starting on the radio
...the first page of a book, covered with words and ideas to explore
...the blank page of a journal, filled with nothing but white space and possibility.
