The kind of mess that still makes time for clean bathrooms and things that matter.
My house is a mess.
The kind of mess where dirty clothes and clean clothes are both in laundry baskets. Separate
baskets, of course, with one set of clothes folded.

The kind of mess where I'd love to de-clutter if I had time. But I don't.
My house is a mess, and today was my daughter's birthday party. Rather than inviting our family over here, we went to a pool.

I just read a quote from Erma Bombeck in a magazine tonight that read: " my theory on housework is, if the item doesn't multiply, smell, catch fire, or block the refrigerator door, let it be. No one cares, why should you?"
